I- AFCON: Creation and legal status
AFCON (Africa Commodities Negotiate) is a subsidiary of WASA GROUPE, founded in 2022 and formed as a Limited Liability Corporation (SARL). It is part of the three SARL branches of the WASA Group. AFCON was born during the expansion of the holding operations. Although it is already operational, it is owned mainly by WASA GROUPE.
II- Its main activity: agricultural export
AFCON Sarl's specific mission is to purchase and export agricultural raw materials. It focuses on key products such as Cacao, Coffee, Cashew and Cotton. AFCON is thus an essential component of WASA HOLDING's Distribution & Negotiate division, focusing on agricultural products for export.
III- Role in the WASA Trade Point
AFCON contributes to the Distribution & Negotiate division alongside ESWD Distribution Sarl. While ESWD focuses on the marketing of construction materials and various products, AFCON specializes in agricultural amenities. This complementarity allows WASA HOLDING to cover both the supply of materials and the trading of raw materials.
IV- Governance and governance
As a SARL subsidiary owned by WASA GROUPE, AFCON is administered by a senior manager. This manager is directly appointed by the Managing Director of WASA GROUPE, which ensures strategic leadership aligned with the holding objectives. The role of this manager is to actively develop the trading activities of this company on the market.
